Take the Nightmare Out of Setting up a Meeting

April 6, 2009

Ever know the frustration of trying to get eight people to agree on a meeting date and time? Or three people for that matter? Busy people are always being challenged by scheduling a meeting for more than two people. Doodle.ch is the answer. Doodle is a free web-based service that allows you to create a calendar of possible meeting times/dates. You simply set up an account, create the poll that describes the kind of meeting you want to have, with a calendar of dates and times. That generates a web link you send to invitees. All your participants need to do is visit the link and check off which dates/times on the calendar they are available and Doodle will keep track of it all. It even notifies you when folks respond to the poll. Check back and see the results and BOOM! You have a chart of when the meeting can accomodate the most people.

Try it, you will reduce your stress, you will have more time for lunch, you can ask for a raise, your husband will wonder why things are going so well at work and your community will think you are a genius.
