NewsHaiti: Daughters of Wisdom
January 20, 2010
The Daughters of Wisdom grieve for the suffering people of Haiti, and are among them. Sisters serve in Carrefour, the epicenter of the earthquake, where six Sisters are known to have died. The Sisters also minister in Port-au-Prince, Bonneau, Kenscoff, Jeremie, Limbe, Cap-Haitien, Chansolme, Mare Rouge, Moron, Petion-Ville, Petit Goave, Port de Paix, and St. Louis du Nord. The US Province of the Daughters of Wisdom has set up a Haiti Relief Fund to which people can donate with the assurance that all monies received will go directly to the Sisters in Haiti and through them, to the Haitian people.
