Sisters Karen and Kristin Hokanson were the speakers at a recent meeting of the New England Communicators for Women Religious. Many of you heard their stimulating presentation in Cincinnati. This dynamic duo continued in their clear and lively style to describe and demonstrate how to conduct video conferences using Flash Meeting. This technology, which originated in the United Kingdom, was originally devised for their Open University system. Sister Kristin who is principal of the Notre Dame Virtual School uses Flash Meetings with students and faculty on four continents.

In addition to the communicators who regularly attend the NECWR meetings, administrators and interested colleagues were invited to the meeting.
