NewsMound hosts Fair Trade Festival
April 28, 2009 SINSINAWA, Wis. -- The Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery at Sinsinawa Mound will host the 2nd annual World Fair Trade Festival May 4-9. This is your chance to purchase gifts with a conscience. Visitors can sample Fair Trade coffees and Divine chocolates while enjoying international music. Join us for a style show featuring Fair Trade clothing and jewelry (call for information). Items available include adult and children clothing including dresses, skirts, t-shirts, scarves, and hand-knit sweaters as well as handcrafted jewelry, purses, nativities, and instruments. There will be special sales daily and door prizes. Since 2002, the Sinsinawa Book and Gift Gallery has offered Fair Trade products from Ghana, Ecuador, Peru, India, Kenya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Argentina, and other countries.
