Ursuline Sisters of Louisville Celebrate 150 Years

The Ursuline Sisters: Celebrating 150 Years CUMBERLAND, Md. (May 8, 2008) - The Ursuline Sisters of Louisville will celebrate their 150th anniversary with an event that will reach out to alumnae, family members and friends in Maryland and West Virginia. The Ursuline Sisters established Ursuline Academy, St. Mary’s and Bishop Walsh in Cumberland and St. Francis in Morgantown. The event will take place on Sunday, June 29. There will be a Mass at 11:45 at St. Peter and Paul Church located at 109 N. Small Street in Cumberland, Maryland. It will be followed by a reception at St. Mary’s Church located at 300 E. Oldtown.
