ConferenceThe annual NCNWR conference affords members an opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, to share ideas, to exchange information, and to learn more about how to do their work in a more efficient and effective way. Each year, since its inception in 1995, the conference has been enhanced to offer more of what our members need and ask for.
The conference format provides time for learning as well as for networking.
- Open sessions feature well-known speakers in areas that are of interest to our members.
- Workshops give members useful information about their day-to-day work and how to improve their skills.
- The Spirituality of Communication session helps members refocus on their work as mission and ministry.
- An evening out in our conference host city provides an opportunity to socialize with old friends and meet new ones in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Perhaps the most well received session of the conference is the Best Practices. During this session, a pre-selected number of members share information about how to accomplish a project that has been successful for them. Members find this session invaluable.
