Tricia Buxton from Sinsinawa Dominicans

How Long In Congregation: 9 years
Mission: The Sinsinawa Dominicans are Catholic Sisters proclaiming the Gospel through preaching, teaching, and participating in building a holy and just society.
Ministries: Our congregation is involved in myraid ministries, including teaching, health care, counseling, pastoral care, parish ministry, and social services.
Most Rewarding: I enjoy the balance and flexibility that comes with being a Communication Director. No two days are the same. Projects are continually funneled through our office, keeping us busy and up-to-date on the latest technologies. I also enjoy the spiritual aspect that accompanies working with the Sisters. The networks of support that are built through talking and working with other communicators are invaluable to me.
Most Challenging: Balancing the wide variety of projects is a challenge, but keeps me informed. I enjoy problem-solving. It's also a challenge to focus on one project for any length of time given that we are are pulled in so many different directions.
